BART GARRETT, Lead Pastor, Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church

Before becoming the Lead Pastor at Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church in 2020, Bart founded Christ Church East Bay, with locations in Berkeley and Oakland, in 2006, pastoring there for nearly fifteen years.

Bart has a passion for reaching everyone in the community, whether they were raised in the church, have left the church or have never been to a church. He also desires to see church planters and pastors live as healthy and whole persons, and leads incubators, cohorts, and pastor-to-pastor groups with that end in mind.

Bart lives in Oakland with his wife, Katie and their three daughters, Caroline, Clair and Cammie. He enjoys roasting his own coffee, and keeps physically fit by trail running, mentally fit by reading.

BRANNIN PITRE, Sr. Minister of Grace Pasadena Church

Brannin Pitre is the founding pastor and Sr. Minister of Grace Pasadena Church in Pasadena, CA. He and his wife Tanya, planted the church in 2008 through Redeemer City to City, and with the help of several large churches from around the country. In addition to leading Grace Pasadena, Brannin is the current Chairman and President of Together LA, an organization that seeks to ask and answer the question, “how do we best love the cities that make up greater Los Angeles.”

Brannin serves on the North American Steering Committee of City to City and his wife Tanya serves on the global Board for City to City. Tanya and Brannin have 3 children: Lawson 19, Hadley 16 and Judson 14. Prior to moving to Los Angeles, Brannin and Tanya lived in Dallas TX and served at Park Cities Presbyterian Church.

Both Brannin and Tanya are graduates of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and both are Houston natives, though they warmly embrace Southern California as home.

DAN CLAIRE, Senior Pastor, Church of the Resurrection, Washington D.C.

A Florida native, Dan moved to Washington over twenty years ago to help establish a seminary in the area. Dan originally began his career as a research scientist, attending college and medical school at the University of Florida. After transitioning into vocational ministry, he studied biblical theology and languages at Reformed Theological Seminary and the Catholic University of America. Dan has been involved in church planting since the Church of the Resurrection began in his home in 2003. Dan is married to Elise, and they have five children.

DAN MACDONALD, Senior Pastor, Grace Toronto Church

Dan MacDonald transition from a legal background in 1990 to pursue a call to full-time ministry. He currently serves as the Senior Pastor for Grace Toronto Church, which he started with his wife in 2005. Grace Toronto has planted two congregations over the past 5 years and has seen 3 of its interns go on to plant churches in Toronto and Ottawa. Dan served as Director of The GraceNetwork for 4 years until 2017. He currently sits on the C2C National Advisory Team and on the National Council of The Gospel Coalition Canada. Dan has been married to Sue (“the one upon whom the sun rises and sets”) for over 20 years. They have a beautiful little spitfire Shaila who is teaching them more about love, grace, drama and the gospel that they ever wanted to know.

GABRIEL SALGUERO, President, National Latino Evangelical Coalition

Rev. Gabriel Salguero is the founder of the National Latino Evangelical Coalition (NaLEC) which offers an important leadership voice for the close to 8 million Latino evangelical in our country. He and his wife, Rev. Jeanette Salguero, are the co-lead pastors of the multicultural Lamb’s Church of the Nazarene in New York City. The Lamb’s Church worships in three languages– English, Spanish, and Mandarin. Much of their work focuses on racial reconciliation.

The Salgueros have ministered extensively in Europe, Latin America, and Africa. Their life’s work is bringing an ethical framework to public policy and empowering mature leadership. Rev. Salguero has worked on issues of leadership development, evangelicals and public policy, as well as racial reconciliation. In addition, he has written extensively on ethics and race, multicultural ministry, immigration, and spirituality and public work. Salguero has been named as one of the most influential Latino evangelical leaders by the Huffington Post, CNN Español, El Diario, and Jorge Ramos’ Al Punto. He is a featured writer for “On Faith,” and the Huffington Post’s religion page. Moreover, he previously served on the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in NJ. Salguero has also served as an adviser to the White House on issues of immigration and health-care and the faith community.

The Salgueros have two beautiful boys, Jon-Gabriel and Seth, who are their pride and joy.

MARK BURCH, North American Church Planting Director, Multiply

Mark has the great privilege of helping put feet and structure to Northview’s vision to plant churches locally & nationally. Their leadership development pipeline, including internships, Immerse, and their yet-to-be-built church-planting residency come under his area or responsibility.

Mark and his wife Karolyn met at Briercrest Bible College and plunged into local church ministry as newlyweds. They’ve been privileged to serve in both small and large churches in both rural and urban settings for over 20 years. Additionally God blessed us with the gift of 8 years in a national church planting ministry (C2Cnetwork) that gave them a glimpse of what the Spirit of God is up to from sea to sea in Canada.

Mark & Karolyn have been married for over 30 years and have three children and six grandchildren.

PAUL KIM, Lead Pastor, Redeemer San Diego

Paul was born in Hawaii but has lived in CA for most of his life. He met Linda at UC Berkeley and to his surprise, after a couple of years of pursuit, a relationship developed! They got married a few years after college, during which Paul attended seminary at Westminster CA. In 2001, the Kim family moved down to San Diego to plant a church. What began as a scratch start church has now developed into Redeemer San Diego! Paul enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 kids, eating good food, and rooting for the Chargers and Cal football.
